Natural Kidz is pleased to highlight Kids Are Heroes, a website created by 11 year old MaryMargaret and her dad, dedicated to shining a spotlight on children who are doing inspirational good deeds in their local and global community.
Kids Are Heroes desires to inspire children with the knowledge that they have the power to change the world! Age is not a limitation in the ripple effect of spreading goodness. The website has some printable activities for children including a coloring page, word search and hero matching game.

A California company is taking our healthy milk consumption one step further by making toys from recycled milk jugs! I was alerted to this call to action via Facebook from one of my favorite instructors at the gym, Sandra. Hooray for the power of sharing information through social media!
Ever since my son was diagnosed with a serious peanut allergy, I have dedicated considerable time and energy to educating myself on what he can and cannot eat. As a result, my research has motivated me to change the way we eat entirely! I am breaking a lifetime of patterns for myself and teaching my son the value of eating good wholesome foods. I am passionate about being involved with organizations that promote healthy habits for mind, body and spirit. The LunchBox is a fabulous program focused on generating awareness and effecting change within our schools by requesting that congress donate one more dollar for every child, thus enabling a more healthy lunch to be served in schools!
